The bonsai available for sale on the website are already acclimatized. BONSAI bonsai plants are living things, please take good care of them. Plants need time to adapt to any environmental change. Diffused sunlight and appropriate humidity are the best adaptation period for bonsai. If you find unhealthy leaves, it is recommended to remove them. Picking off old leaves can help the growth of new leaves, and removing leaves appropriately can also reduce the consumption of nutrients.

  • Summer care

During the summer, avoid placing the bonsai in direct sunlight, especially during midday hours, to prevent leaf burns. You can place the bonsai in a sheltered area or use a shade net.

  • Suitable for flowering bonsai

After the flowers wither, they should be picked off in time, otherwise the nutrients of the plant will continue to be depleted. In addition, if the flowers are not removed after they wither, stagnant water will easily lead to fungal infection.

  • Each watering

Each time you water, wait until the water flows out from the bottom of the pot. This method is suitable for small bonsai. Water when the soil is almost dry. Since different environmental locations will affect the frequency of watering, the number of days between watering cannot be fixed and should be determined based on the dryness and wetness of the soil. Place the bonsai in a well-ventilated area. Note: Water only when the soil is almost dry, otherwise the roots will easily rot and cause the plant to die.

  • How to determine whether the soil is dry

1. Observe the color of the soil: when the soil becomes lighter in color, it means it is dry.
2. Press the soil with your hands: feel whether the soil is moist.
3. Compare weights: The weight before and after watering will be different.

  • Fertilization

(Seasonal fertilization, fertilization in spring and autumn. No fertilization is required in summer and winter)

Please fertilize bonsai appropriately, especially flowering bonsai, to help the growth of flowers. Don’t fertilize when the plant is unhealthy (e.g., has lots of dead leaves) because applying fertilizer may injure the roots. Wait until the plant has recovered before fertilizing. In addition to ruling out bacterial infection, dead leaves may be caused by over- or under-watering, insufficient sunlight, lack of ventilation, etc. Please start with moisture, sunlight and ventilation to see if there is any area that needs improvement.
