Satsuki is an evergreen shrub of the Rhododendaceae family. It grows naturally in the Rocky Mountains along river banks west of the Kanto region, and has been cultivated for ornamental purposes since ancient times. Satsuki Yuki is the abbreviation of "サツキツツジ".
