The beech tree possesses captivating serrated leaves, a unique branch structure, and fine-textured bark. Its small, glossy leaves turn yellow to red in autumn. Furthermore, its bark is quite distinctive. It sheds through metabolism, regrowing new bark that peels off easily, like scales.
