Form & character | Sweeping deadwood, dense green crown

A broad sweep of pale deadwood stretches across the lower trunk, its grain following each turn in the wood. Above it, the dense green crown creates a strong contrast. Layers of foliage rise towards a compact apex. Follow the curves of the pale wood, then look for the darker trunk visible between the branches.
